On April 14, 2018, I had the pleasure to DJ for Kathryn and Bryan at Villa Del Sol D'Oro. That evening I was in charge of their cocktail and reception.
I was located in the main hall and used 2 RCF Evox 8 speakers on both corners of the room and a QSC K8.2 for the dinner on the patio. To minimize my XLR cables setup, I used my Sennheiser Wireless Speaker System for my RCF Evox 8 speakers. This also allowed me to have more sound coverage in the main hall. I also used my Ape Labs Maxi to provide uplights inside and outside of the building.
We kicked things off with a fun grand entrance outside, their first dance, dinner and speeches. Then afterwards, we moved everybody inside for the cake cutting, parent dances, money dance, dancing, bouquet & garter and towards the end, a grand exit for our happy couple.
As for music, I played a mixture of line dances, 80s, and 90s. And towards the end of the night, I played some current Top 40 hip-hop hits to please the B&G and their friends.
Overall, this was a fun, lit and smooth wedding! The energy from the crowd was amazing and everybody had a fantastic time. Thanks, Kat & Bryan for having me as your DJ!
