On June 22, 2018, I had the pleasure to DJ and host Lindsey and Tony's wedding at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. This was my 3rd time working at the venue and it's always exciting to work there. That evening, I was in charge of the cocktail hour behind the villa and the reception that took place in front of the villa.
I entertained about 270-280 guests with the majority being a younger crowd. I warmed up the dance floor and played some jams while people were having dinner. This set the tone of the night and got people up on their feet to groove to the beat. After some of the wedding formalities, we did a sparkler entrance! This was a twist! Usually, couples have a sparkler exit at the end of the night, but we switched things up and did a sparkler entrance onto the dance floor! This kicked off the dance party and I started off with Chris Brown's "Yeah 3x". This got everybody hyped and in a great mood! It quickly became a party and the wedding was LIT! We even got Lindsey and Tony lifted up in chairs at one point in the night!
Overall, it was a fun and successful night. We ended the party at 12:30am and there were a good amount of people still with us that night. Lindsey and Tony had an amazing time, and I had a blast as their DJ as I got to play some of those club bangers that you normally don't hear at a wedding. Thank you, Lindsey & Tony, for having me as your DJ and making your night unforgettable!
