This video captures some highlights from Amie & Jose's wedding at the Calamigos Ranch The North Pavilion Room!

On June 24, 2018, I DJed and hosted Amie & Jose's wedding. I was in charge of their ceremony, cocktail, and reception. Since it was my first time to DJ at that particular area, I scouted the venue a couple of weeks before the wedding to figure out my setup.

For the ceremony, I used 2-QSC K8.2 speakers with my Wireless Sennheiser Speaker system to cover the wide seating space. It was a beautiful ceremony and sounded wonderful! Everyone could hear what was happening from both sides of the ceremony and I didn't have to set up a wired XLR to daisy chain the speakers!

For the cocktail hour, I set up 1 RCF EVOX 8 Speaker on the deck. It's super low profile and has a great wide sound coverage.

For the reception, I have a setup crew who put all the trusses, lighting and sound together for me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to put any speakers underneath the tent due to sound restrictions, so I had my speakers under the building and point my speakers outwards. My assistant was great and he helped me figure out my sound levels so the people in the back can hear me. 

I also had a custom monogram for the client. I used my ADJ Ikon Profile WW and got my gobo done from www.progobo.com

As for entertainment, we started off with a grand entrance, first dance, surprise dance with the bridal party, dinner, speeches, and dancing! While the couple was taking pictures outside, I kept the guests entertained and opened up the dance floor for people to dance. I started playing some jams and later that night cranked up the energy. I mixed a mixture of 80s, 90s, Hip Hop, 00s, and Top 40.

Overall, it was a great night and Amie and Jose had a wonderful time!
