This app is a one-stop shop that provides everything I need to work my MOJOE Magic.
Accessible on both your phone and computer, it allows you to plan on the go or from the comfort of your home.

You'll also receive my music resources and tips to assist you as you plan your wedding.

We’ll have multiple meetings to ensure you know exactly what needs to be done from the time we book until the days leading up to your wedding.

My goal is to set you up for success, helping you avoid procrastination and thoughtfully consider how you want your wedding to be.

By the time our meetings are complete, you’ll have a crystal-clear idea of how your wedding will unfold.

This way, you can simply show up and enjoy your special day, knowing everything is in the capable hands of the professional vendors you’ve hired.

Before the ceremony begins, I usually:

• Welcome everyone

• Make an unplugged announcement, inviting guests to put away their cell phones and cameras.

I will collaborate with your coordinator to cue specific songs for each moment during the processional and recessional. You’ll provide me with your chosen songs for these special moments.

At the end of the ceremony, I will:

• Guide guests to the cocktail hour

• If requested, invite family members to stay for photos

For the cocktail hour, I generally set up a speaker so guests can enjoy music while catching up with friends and family and savoring drinks and appetizers.

One unique aspect of my service is mixing music to set the perfect vibe, a skill that only a professional DJ can offer.

Unlike many DJs who simply hit the play button on Spotify and walk away, I actively mix the music to:

• Avoid drawn-out songs

• Maximize the number of songs played during the cocktail hour

By mixing the music, I can:

• Include more of the songs you love

• Adjust the vibe to match the crowd's mood and energy

• Keep your guests entertained as they await the next part of the program

I'll be mixing from my main DJ setup inside the tent and transmitting audio to the speaker outside.

This means guests will hear the same seamless mix both inside and outside the tent, creating a smooth transition experience when it's time to welcome them inside for the reception.

For the reception, not only will I play songs for your special moments, dinner, and dancing, but I’ll also be hosting the program as the MC to ensure a smooth and engaging flow from moment to moment.

By this time, we’ve already coordinated and reviewed how everything will go in our Zoom meetings to make sure all the details align with your vision.

Now, it’s just a matter of executing those details and collaborating with the other professional wedding vendors you’ve hired to bring your vision to life. It’s all about teamwork!

The reception is the fun part of the night, where we can get creative with the flow of events.

We’ll work together leading up to your wedding to ensure all the details are perfect. This includes:

• Song selections

• People involved

• Names

• Locations

• Other logistics

This way, I can interact and present each moment with finesse.

Usually, the reception will have its location within your venue space.

If so, I'll have my third DJ setup in addition to the ceremony and cocktail setups.

I’ll also have dance lights focused on the dance floor and ambient lighting around the tent to create a pleasant atmosphere during dinner.

When it’s time to dance, the lights will change color to the beat of the music, creating a fun visual experience for everyone.

As we wrap up the night, you may decide to have a grand exit.

If you choose this, I’ll have a portable speaker to play an uplifting song of your choice as you make your grand exit with friends and family.
