Wedding Recap!
On March 3, 2018, I had the pleasure to DJ/MC Bryan & Erma's wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club. That evening I was in charge of their cocktail and reception. They had their ceremony outside on the lawn with the view of the Pacific Ocean behind them. It's an incredible view and this venue should be considered if you want that beachy, yet elegant look for your wedding. The ceremony was a success! And as you can tell, the guests are a fun crowd and ready to continue with the evening's festivities.
Shortly after the ceremony, we invited the guests over for the cocktail hour at the patio. I provided 1-QSC K8.2 speaker on an Ultimate Stand to provide the music as guests enjoy their drinks and appetizers.
Inside for the reception, I had dual trusses with moving heads, along with some JBL tops and subs for the music. I also provided a spotlight to highlight the people walking in for the grand entrance, speeches, and first dance. This video captures the fun reception as we even had a surprise dance from the groom and his groomsmen for Erma. This kicked things off and we started a dance party right after! I played a mixture of Top 40, throwbacks, Latin, pop, and hip-hop! Everyone had an amazing time on the dance floor.
This was my first time DJing at the venue and I even got compliments from the staff there. They usually have complaints about how other DJs have their music volume too loud. My music volume was perfect! and they liked how I worked with them to make sure that wouldn't be a problem.
All-in-all, this was a super fun wedding! Thank you, Bryan & Erma for having me as your DJ and making your night special.
