This video captures some fun highlights from Tim and Agnes' wedding at Metropol Event Venue in Glendale, CA! - August 18, 2019
On August 18, 2019, I spun for Agnes and Tim's wedding at Metropol Event Venue.
That night, I was in charge of the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. I've worked there before for Dale and Denise's Wedding, but this time it happened at one of Metropol's other bigger rooms.
For the setup, I was stationed on the stage which gave me a good view to see everything that was going on and I just had to stay here for the whole night.
The ceremony setup was beautiful as they had white drapes on both sides of the center to hide the dinner tables from other guests.
It was a beautiful and elegant setup and the venue's built-in lights made it very nice.
After the ceremony was over, we invited the guests outside for the cocktail hour while we transformed the room to be ready for the dinner reception.
For the reception, we had the grand entrance, first dance, welcome speech, the blessing of the food, dinner, speeches, group photo, dancing, cake cutting, and the bouquet toss.
During dinner, we even entertained their guests with the kissing game, trivia game, and a centerpiece game.
In terms of setup with the reception, I provided 2 extra Bose S1 speakers on the sides of the room which gave more sound reinforcement so people in the back can hear.
I used my Shure QLXD receiver and transmitter to achieve this wireless sound.
One of my favorite things about my couple is that they love Jesus and are fellow Christians just like myself.
During cocktail and dinner, I played some Christian hip hop and uplifting Christian music as requested and it was perfect as it reflected their beliefs and what holds their relationship and marriage together.
As for the venue setting, I loved how the lights are already built into the venue and gave it this club-like feel when it was time to dance.
The staff was very nice in helping me do my thing and the food they served was delicious!
Overall, the whole wedding event was a success and it makes me happy to see them having a great time with their family and friends.
