On August 10, 2019, I had the pleasure to DJ for Lior and Eileen at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. This video captures my setup, wedding program, and some highlights from the wedding that made this night unforgettable.

- DJ SETUP EXPLAINED -
Arriving at the venue, we had 2 hours of setup time. I had 2 assistants helping me out that day as we had plenty of work to cover sound throughout the museum. We arrived early and had to wait until the official setup time to go in and do our thing.
The ceremony was on the left of the museum when you enter the building. We set up 2 QSC K8.2 speakers to the left and right at the end of the hallway. So I won't be in pictures, I had a table set up at the back of the wedding seats and had my white facade to cover my table to hide the gear. I used long cables to run my mixer board to my first speaker, then daisy-chained that to the next speaker across. For microphones, I used my Shure QLXD24/SM58.
For the dinner reception, we had it in the room to the right of the museum, basically across from where the ceremony was held. Because of the hard reflections in the room, there was plenty of echo. Also, because of the rectangular orientation of the room and my DJ location, I knew I needed more speakers. I provided 4 speakers in that room to cover the wide space of the room so people can hear any announcements and music. This also helps reduce the echo effect heard around the room. I used whatever speakers I had in my arsenal. I used 2 QSC K8s and 2 Bose S1 Speakers. This was perfect because I'm not expecting people to dance and just needed them for sound reinforcement. I hard wired all of the cables and had the speakers on stands. I mixed using my Numark NVII controller, my backup DJ controller.
For the dance portion of the night, we had it in the main foyer with the dinosaur skeletons. This was located in the middle of the museum and had the most wow factor for the guests. I set up 2 RCF EVOX 8 Speakers, one on each side of the room. To prevent using cable across the walkway, I set up my sound to be wireless using my SHURE QLXD system (watch my other video to learn more). I also used 2 mini moving head lights attached to my poles and set up uplights around the dinosaur room using my Ape Labs Maxi. I also transferred my white facade used at the ceremony to my DJ setup at the dinosaur room. I used my main DJ Controller, Pioneer DDJ-SR2.
Shoutout to my wonderful team to help me pull all of this off! (Want my DETAILED List of how I pulled this off? Leave a comment below)

- DJ MOJOE's LAST THOUGHTS - I had a great time being Lior and Eileen's DJ. There was a lot of work involved and can't thank enough for the people I worked with to make all of this happen. What helped me tremendously was the preparation involved such as
